Mosley Says Pacquiao An Easy Prey

American fighter Shane Mosley is claiming that world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao would be an easy prey in their May 7 fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mosley, 39, made the claim even as their scheduled bout was being branded as “garbage” by some boxing analysts.

“Garbage” nothwithstanding, the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley bout appeared to be a hot sell this early when about 16,000 tickets for the fight were sold in just three hours on Monday after they were released, leaving only about 1,000 tickets left.

The ticket sale was made more than a week ahead of a scheduled five-city press tour by both fighters in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, New York and San Francisco to promote their fight. The tour will start on February 10 in Beverly Hills, California.

How Manny Pacquiao’s Body Has Tricked Analysts and Opponents

The first goal of this little study was to look at some physical characteristics of fighters – specifically height, weight, and wrist size – and check if these three characteristics could indicate how likely it would be for a fighter to have a good chin and stamina.

The second goal is related to my first goal in the sense that it looks at the same physical characteristics, however, here I was interested in figuring out how big or small Manny Pacquiao really is compared to other fighters, and whether or not there is anything in particular about his physical characteristics that would allow him to move up in weight in such an explosive manner.

No fighter has ever knocked out Sugar Shane Mosley and WBA lightwelterweight champion Amir Khan of England said recently Manny Pacquiao could be the first to do it when they clash in a WBO welterweight title bout in Las Vegas on May 7.

Pacquiao holds the record of eight world titles in different divisions and it may never be duplicated or surpassed. If he stops Mosley, it will be another record for the Filipino ring icon.

Khan, 24, is in Baguio City training alongside Pacquiao. He arrived two weeks ago with uncle Tahir or Taz and friend Bill Singh. So far, Khan and Pacquiao haven’t sparred with each other.

How To Beat Manny???Solving the Pacquiao Puzzle

In boxing, athletes usually reach their peak between the ages twenty seven and thirty and then begin slowing down soon there after. This is the time when youthful boxers must use their age as an advantage. But again, there are some boxers who continue to defy this logic.

There are few who dig deep to uncover a fountain of youth in the abyss of there souls. Current superstar boxers such as Juan Manuel Marquez, Sergio Martinez, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are all over thirty-three years old and have preserved their skills and have arguably even gotten better. The same goes for Sugar Shane Mosley and Bernard Hopkins. For Manny Pacquiao, would this be similar fate?
