American fighter Shane Mosley is claiming that world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao would be an easy prey in their May 7 fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.Mosley, 39, made the claim even as their scheduled bout was being branded as “garbage” by some boxing analysts.
“Garbage” nothwithstanding, the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley bout appeared to be a hot sell this early when about 16,000 tickets for the fight were sold in just three hours on Monday after they were released, leaving only about 1,000 tickets left.
The ticket sale was made more than a week ahead of a scheduled five-city press tour by both fighters in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, New York and San Francisco to promote their fight. The tour will start on February 10 in Beverly Hills, California.
